The history of Ganassini
Istituto Ganassini, the makers of Rilastil, was founded as a pharmaceutical company in Milan in 1930 by Professor Domenico Ganassini di Camerati.
Throughout Istituto Ganassini's history they have continually introduced innovative products for individuals of all ages to protect the skin of the face and body.
1938 -- VITAMINDERMINA POWDER CREATED
The first medic-pharmaceutical powder was launched in the market. The competitors were the perfumed talcs.
1971 -- RILASTIL CREAM INTRODUCED
The first stretch mark cosmetic cream was introduced and presented to gynecologists. Istituto Ganassini was the first company to use medical information in the cosmetic field. Istituto Ganassini was the first cosmeceutical company in the world with the introduction of this product.
1985 -- RILASTIL DERMOSOLARE LINE INTRODUCED
Rilastil Dermosolare sun care products were created to protect the face and body from sun damage.
1986 -- RILASTIL LADY LINE INTRODUCED
Rilastil Lady - skincare products for mature skin - was introduced.
1994 -- RILASTIL INTENSIVE LINE INTRODUCED
The Rilastil Intensive Line was introduced and is now the premiere skincare line of Istituto Ganassini. This range of products is suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin, oily skin, cellulite, scars and stretch marks. This line now includes the top three best selling face and body creams in all of Italy!
1998 -- RILASTIL MAKE UP INTRODUCED
Rilastil Color Corrector and Foundation Cream Make Up was introduced. This make up was designed for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
1999 -- RILASTIL INTENSIVE CELLULITE LINE INTRODUCED
A complete line of products to combat cellulite were introduced.
2001 -- RILASTIL INTENSIVE REGENERATING CREAM CREATED
Regenerating Cream was introduced to prevent and reduce premature skin aging and the formation of wrinkles by regenerating skin cells. This cream is designed to restore firmness, skin tone and elasticity. Regenerating Cream is now the #3 best selling face cream in all of Italy.
2002 -- RILASTIL INTENSIVE SLIMMING CREAM CREATED
Slimming Cream is an innovative cosmetic treatment. This cream reduces the blemishes on the skin caused by fatty deposits. Slimming Cream makes skin more toned, elastic and smooth for a slimmer skin profile. Cream eliminates excess water and toxins and improves microcirculation.
2003 -- RILASTIL YOUNG LINE INTRODUCED
Istituto Ganassini created their first line of skincare for young skin - those in their teens and early twenties -- comprised of Day Prevention Cream, Night Protection Cream, and Eye Contour Gel.
2004 -- RILASTIL MAKE UP MASCARA CREATED
The make-up line of products was expanded to include mascara. Ophthalmologist tested, with volumizing effect for longer curved eye lashes. Creates an intense look and is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
2004--FACE INSTANT SERUM RELEASED
New daily cosmetic treatment introduced -- formulated to instantly tone, tighten and smooth skin.
2005-- INNOVATIVE NEW PRODUCTS INTRODUCED
Rilastil Lady Line expanded to include Progression Moisturizing & Anti-Wrinkle Cream. With 22 active ingredients, this innovative cream moisturizes, reduces wrinkles, smoothes and protects skin. This new cream includes ingredients to help reduce the signs of aging in mature skin due to a reduction in hormones.
2005-- RISTIL MAKE-UP LINE EXPANDED
